Every service

Eight ways we help at home.

Exceptional Touch provides non-medical care at home around Jackson: personal care, companionship and sitters, meals, light housekeeping, transportation, respite and 24-hour care, dementia care, and support for adults with intellectual disabilities. No nursing. Medication support is reminders only, not administration.

How it works

Three steps, and the first is a phone call.

  1. Call us

    (769) 572-5999, or our 24/7 line, (601) 589-0768. Tell us what is going on at home.

  2. Free in-home visit

We come to your parent's home, anywhere from Clinton to Brandon, and listen. Then we write a plan you approve. Nothing starts until you say so.

  3. Meet your caregiver

Matched to your parent's personality and schedule, usually within a few days. We check in every week, and sooner if something changes.

Long-term care insurance

We work with your policy. Before you call, look up its elimination period and daily benefit, and we will help you make sense of them.

VA Aid and Attendance

For a veteran or surviving spouse, Aid and Attendance may help pay toward in-home care. We are not a VA provider and do not file claims.

Straight answers

What families ask about our services.

Still unsure? Book a free in-home visit. We serve Jackson and 17 communities around it.

Do you bill Medicaid or Medicare?

No. We are private pay and long-term care insurance only, and we say so on the first call. If your family needs a Medicaid provider, the Elderly and Disabled Waiver and the Area Agency on Aging in Pearl are the places to start.

How much does home care cost in Mississippi?

The 2025 CareScout Cost of Care Survey puts Mississippi's median rate for a non-medical caregiver at $24 an hour. We quote your rate on the free in-home visit, after we know the hours and the care.

Is there a minimum, or can we start with just a few hours?

We build the schedule around your family, from a few hours a week to 24-hour care, and it can change as needs change.

What is the difference between home care and home health?

Home care is non-medical help with daily life. Home health is medical care ordered by a doctor. We provide home care; Home Health is only our legal name.

Do the same caregivers come each time?

We match a caregiver to your parent after the free in-home visit and check in with you every week. Ask us on the call how scheduling would work for your family.
